Funeral Information - Readings

Readings vary, depending on the Bible used. Our readings are taken from the Order of Christian Funerals, a book of rites used by the Celebrant (priest).

Please note, this information is an aide to assist you and your family with the selection of readings for your loved one’s funeral. Meeting with a Bereavement Minister is required to finalize the funeral planning.

Old Testament Readings If the family opts for only one reading, it must be an Old Testament reading.
