Bring Holy Communion to the Homebound

Did you know that there are two retirement communities near Saint Thomas the Apostle? Every week parishioners volunteer as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound and take the Eucharist to those living in homes who are unable to make it to Mass. We are looking for a very special and dedicated volunteer to discern this very important apostolate to the homebound. Right now, there is a need for at least one volunteer to take Holy Communion to the residents of one of those communities, Olive Grove Retirement Community, located off of 30th Street and Indian School Road, once a week. For more information about this beautiful ministry or to signup to volunteer, please contact Brittany Allen at the parish office, (602) 9549089 x5210 or
